Houses

All the children in our school are divided into four houses - Earth, Fire, Air and Water

We use the 'ClassDojo' House point system to reinforce positive behaviour and to foster a spirit of support and encouragement throughout the school. It also allows us to hold inter house competitions, such as lunchtime sporting tournaments, quiz's and sports days.

House Points are awarded for good behaviour, quality work, good deeds and anything else that we consider appropriate. 

As the term progresses, the dojo awards build, at the end of each term, the points are totalled and the winning house is declared. The winning house becomes the holder of the 'House Cup' which is adorned with appropriately coloured ribbons. Every child in the winning House then receives a treat for their hard work.
