Values

Our school values have been developed in consultation with staff, pupils, parents, Governors and members of our local community. Our values are visually represented through the school emblem of an Oak tree and are consistent with our school motto: 'Mighty Oaks from Tiny Acorns Grow'

Our Biblical Foundation is Matthew 13 verses 31-32. Then Jesus told another story: “The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed. A man plants the seed in his field. That seed is the smallest of all seeds. But when it grows, it is one of the largest garden plants. It becomes a tree, big enough for the wild birds to come and make nests in its branches.”

Our Vision is that our school will give everyone who enters a chance to grow like the mustard seed. That their knowledge, skills and Christian values will grow and flourish from tiny seeds to big strong trees.

We have 3 core Values:

• Hope - That all who enter and learn will hope to grow and also learn of the hope of Jesus.
• Forgiveness - The Christian value of forgiveness is fundamental to entering the Kingdom of Heaven, may all who enter this school be offered forgiveness.
• Justice - In the Kingdom of Heaven all will have justice and even the smallest will be given a safe place from persecution, may our school also be a strong safe place.
